the idea behind
Pet Care on the Go

how did it all start?

Pet Care on the Go yellow first-aid kits, practical guidance and a growing network of access points help pet guardians be better prepared when something unexpected happens before professional veterinary care is reached

Pets no longer stay at home

They travel with us, stay in hotels, come to work, take trains and join us on the road. They are part of everyday life - far beyond our homes.

More and more places welcome pets. But being pet-friendly can mean more than simply allowing a dog in or providing a bowl of water.

What happens when something unexpected occurs during a journey, a walk or an ordinary day?

We are not always close to home. Professional veterinary care is not always immediately within reach. And in those moments, being able to take a calm, sensible first step matters.

It was in this space between “something happened” and professional veterinary care that Pet Care on the Go began.

from a question to a solution

We did not want to create another pet accessory. We were looking for something practical - something that could be available where people actually spend time with their dogs and cats.

That is how the yellow first-aid kit for dogs and cats was created.

It began as a resource for pet guardians. Then came another question:

what if a first-aid kit could also be available when you do not have your own?

At an airport. In a hotel. At work. At a fuel station. On a train.

That idea turned a product into the first publicly accessible Pet Care on the Go first-aid kit for dogs and cats point, already available where you travel and spend time with your pet.

And one point began to grow into a network.

Today, Pet Care on the Go includes more than 70 active points, as well as education, training, a live map, partnerships with businesses and experts, and support for organisations working for animals.

The yellow first-aid kit was the beginning. The project grew around it.
